Karen is currently organizing a five-city tour for her One Woman Show, You Don’t Know Me. You Don’t Know Me is a riveting drama with music. It tells the story of Angela Star, a one-time up and coming singer and songwriter who has suffered one tragedy too many and is now living on the streets of New York City, vacillating between the past and present. Though she is homeless, Angela continues to sing and write beautiful music. Karen is honored and excited to breathe the breath of life into this piece that is so close to her heart, as she is an advocate for the homeless and all marginalized people. Karen wrote the script and all the songs for the show, and the incomparable, Steven Kaminski did the arrangements. After the tour, Karen will take the show into New York City.

A lover of people, nature and travel, she will be traveling the world to see first-hand its awe-inspiring beauty, while looking for opportunities to have authentic, immersive experiences with people from other cultures. She will share these experiences on her Karen Abercrombie YouTube channel.
